Amanda, on the other hand, said “yes” to her childhood friend, Jay Caldwell, and the two got married. Amanda became a nurse and currently lives in Kansas, with her husband and their sweet daughter, Chloe.
Even though some of you might be a bit sad that Chloe’s father isn’t Alex Mitchel, you’ll be happy to know that the two still stay in touch, “I still keep in touch with Alex a couple times a year. We call for birthdays and stuff.” says Marsh.
The Bachelor, Season 1: Alex Michel and Amanda Marsh
The first season of "The Bachelor" hosted Alex Michel, a successful businessman and TV producer. After a long season and seven weeks of filming, Alex chose Amanda Marsh, a beautiful event planner.
After many dates and encounters, Alex chose Amanda over runner-up Trista Rehn. However, Alex didn't propose to Amanda and instead decided to date. Turns out, the couple only lasted a year before they broke it off. Yeah, we were bummed too.
Now: Alex Michel
So what is the handsome Alex Michel up to these days? Alex dropped off the face of the earth after his break-up with Amanda, being virtually non-existent across social media.
Well, 15 years after the show, Alex moved to Washington D.C., and started working for a consulting company. And yes, it appears he's still single.
The Bachelor, Season 2: Aaron Buerge and Helene Eksterowicz
The second season of "The Bachelor" ended with a kick! As it turns out, Aaron popped the question to Helene, turning her into the first ever contestant to ever receive a marriage proposal in the show.
Unfortunately, seems like it wasn't meant to be since the couple broke up only five weeks after the season finale aired. Oh well, let's see where these two ended up...
Now: Aaron Buerge
It took six years after his break-up with Helene, until finally, Aaron met the one. In 2009, he married a woman from his hometown, Butler, Missouri. A couple of months later, they were graced with a baby daughter, whom they named Aven.
The family kept growing and now counts two daughters and a third stepdaughter. They currently live in Missouri, where Aaron holds a prestigious position, as the executive VP of a Bank in Clinton, Missouri. Guess it all worked out for the best, huh?
