It would be quite an understatement to say that moving a luggage bag around the airport can be quite a drag (pun intended). And that was the inspiration behind a Chinese farmer’s incredible invention. He Liangcai devised the very first electronic luggage bag. Like many other luggage bags, this one also has wheels.
But what makes it unique is the fact that the wheels are connected to an electric system that allows it to move without dragging it along the floor. It also has a pair of handles, allowing the user to sit on the bag and ride it like an electric bike. Here, we can see Liangcai riding the bag down a street in Changsha City.
Sock Slider
There is no denying that putting on your socks can be an arduous task. Who has time to sit at the edge of their bed and put a sock on each foot to start their day? Maybe you can call us lazy - but surely there's a device out there that stops us from asking our mom (or partner) to put on our socks.
Look no further than the slock slider. This ingenious device allows users to simply fit the edges of the sock onto it, providing one with the easy task of simply dipping their foot toe-first into the hole. There has never been an easier way to put on socks!
Sound Shirt and Sound Mini Skirt
Unlike other devices on this list, this one is specifically designed for the deaf community. Unveiled at the Access+Ability exhibit at the Cooper Hewitt Smithsonian Design Museum, the Soundshirt, and the Sound Miniskirt are designed to look appealing to the eye and to also assist those who wear them.
Designed by Ryan Genz and Francesca Rosella, this wearable device provides deaf audience members with the ability to "feel" the music being played at a concert through vibrations and the sense of touch. It's a pretty innovative breakthrough that helps members of the deaf community get a much more well-rounded experience at events that heavily revolve around music.
Oreo Holder
There is nothing quite like dipping a bunch of Oreos in a nice, cool, glass of milk. Truth be told, these cookies are some of the ultimate dunkers on the market. But who wants to dig through the box or lay out the Oreos on a plate? Both of those practices are so primitive.
Now, you can handle your Oreos in a much more sophisticated way. Simply take this specially-designed Oreo holder and clip it onto the edge of your glass. You can now easily pick up your Oreo and dunk away! And you don't have to worry about the cookies falling out of the container - they won't!
Replaceable Toothbrush Bristles
It seems like the time to replace one's toothbrush comes around way too quickly. Before you know it, you have to take another trip to the drugstore and purchase your next batch of brushes. But what if we told you that you might never need to replace your brush ever again? At the very least, you won't have to replace the handle with this awesome device.
This handle makes it easy to clip on and clip off your toothbrush bristles so that you can simply replace this part of the brush without having to change the handle. It's pretty neat, but might not be the most cost-effective solution until the replaceable bristles become mainstream.
