The cover
This could be cool for basic one-color notebooks. (And we all know you have too many of those lying around.) Obviously, if you can draw well, you can draw on it, but there are other options too. You can cover it up completely with stickers for a cool, graffiti-like look, or you can grab a couple of sheets of your favorite patterned paper (yes, we know you have too many of those too) and go to town. Just tape it to the flaps and you’re golden. Decorate it with paint, washi tape, glitter, or anything crafty within your reach.
The bookmark
Do you always lose the page you last wrote in your notebook? Well, you can fix that pretty easily. Apparently, bookmarks were not only meant for books. You can use them for notebooks as well, and you can even make one yourself! All you need is a piece of ribbon and some glue. Just cut a piece of ribbon at the length you need and glue one of its ends to the top of your notebook’s spine! If the notebook in question has a spiral-bound, it’s even easier — all you need to do is tie the ribbon to the top of the spiral.
The pen holder
If you seem to be losing pens all the time, your favorite notebook could use a pen holder. You’ll need a small strip (about an inch) of elastic band and some glue. Glue one end of the strip to the inside of your back cover, and glue the other end to the front of the back cover. This loop that you just created will do an excellent job holding your pen for you.
