Could you imagine being asked to move out of the first-class section just because you don’t look the way someone expected a first-class passenger to look? Emmit Walker was not having any of this and came up with a very interesting way of revenge.
Birthday Present
Emmit's birthday was coming up, and what was a better way to celebrate than going on a holiday abroad? The Dominican Republic was his destination and excitement was in the air.
He had been saving for this trip forever and even worked the extra few hours on the week prior to his vacation. Nothing was going to ruin this for him. Nothing but one unexpected event.
Bon Voyage
This was a truly special vacation. It was so special for him that he treated himself to a first-class ticket. Not only that, Emmit was no petite kind of guy, so traveling in a priority zone would guarantee comfort and, why not, prestige.
His suitcase was packed, and the taxi to the airport was booked. If only he would have known that one woman was about to be responsible for almost ruining his entire trip.
Unexpected Company
This journey was planned well in advance. The flight was planned to depart one day prior to his birthday, as there was no way he was going to spend his special day between suitcases and passengers.
And although everything was organized in time he was caught unprepared for this next event that happened. Fuuny ways life has. We plan for one thing, but end up going through something else completely.
The Big Day
The big day arrived. Emmit was on his way to the airport and couldn't wait to get on the plane. He was on time, there was no unexpected heavy traffic and he was buzzing for his much-anticipated vacation. Life was great.
He easily found his way to the right line and hummed one of his favorite tunes while he was patiently waiting. Emmit was a music executive so music was a huge part of his life. He was a hard worker and at this particular moment, it was all worth it.
An R&R Lover
All he wanted was to kick back, plug into his loved R&R songs, and thank God (and himself) for every sacred moment he was about to have in paradise. Little did he know, that this would soon be taken away from him.
The line was moving at a slow pace but he was in no hurry. Suddenly, out of nowhere, he heard a high-pitched voice coming from behind him. Then he felt someone trying to push him aside.
Who Are You?
What could this woman possibly want from him? And why was she acting so rude and being so inconsiderate? They both had plane tickets and the plane wasn't about to leave without either of them.
One thing Emmit didn't realize was that this was a turning point in his day. From here, things were about to go downhill, to a point of no return.
Miss Grumpy
She stood there, with a grouchy look on her face, and scanned Emmit from top to bottom with no shame. From her point of view, he was probably not suited to stand in the same queue she was standing in. What was she thinking?
She pointed up to the sign that indicated this was a first-class passenger line only. She barely spoke and just nodded her head, hoping he would comprehend.
He Couldn't Believe What He Heard
She assumed he was in the wrong line and before giving Emmit a chance to explain himself, she just yelled at him and told him to let her through. Emmit stood there, disbelieving what he had just heard, unable to find the words to express his astonishment.
All Emit wanted was to stay calm. He knew that if he lost his temper, things would escalate. He tried to dismiss what had just happened, not knowing that this was just the beginning.
Priority Booking Only
“I believe you may be in the wrong place, you need to let us through. This line is for priority booking.” She just wouldn't let go and continued to use her condescending tone and manner.
It wouldn't be long before Emmit would fully understand what this lady was all about. It wasn't by chance that she asked him to move out of her way, assuming he didn't belong there.
He Had Proof
It was only a matter of time before Emmit would lose his patience. Why was this woman assuming he didn't belong in the first-class line? Although he wasn't obliged to, he took out his ticket and showed the women that he indeed held a first-class ticket, fully paid for.
He wanted to board the plane and get on his way and he knew that this would bring an end to this episode he found himself in. Or will it?
He Had a Suprise Too
The woman was shocked. That was the last thing she expected to see. Her face turned red and she looked as if she was lost for words, however, no words were lost. She turned to her friends who were traveling with her and mumbled out the next line.
"He must be military or something." She said it loud enough, assuring Emmit hears every single word. And it didn't stop there.
She Paid With Real Money
She went on by saying that because she paid with real money for the ticket, he should still let them go first. That they shouldn't be waiting in line after him, and that people should understand their position and ranking.
This was the point where Emmit finished being the nice guy. This was something he refused to tolerate. He didn't want to make a scene in the airport and tried to think of a way to make this woman acknowledge (and pay) for her actions.
There Was More to Come
For some reason, the woman assumed he couldn't afford to pay for his own ticket with his own money, but what was it that drove her to think that? Emmit was assuming that it was much more serious than he initially thought.
He couldn't get the dark thoughts out of his head, however, he had no other explanation for this woman's behavior.
Narrow Mind
As much as he tried to fight it, he knew this woman had prejudiced thoughts of him, simply because of the color of his skin. Yes, no matter how progressive of a society we are, some people are still ignorant to the core.
Emmit had to think fast before jumping to any conclusions. He was certain bout his assumptions, it was clear to him that he was treated like a second-class citizen, however, there was always the chance that she was misunderstood or misinterpreted.
A Change of Plans
Things weren't going all that great for Emmit. Instead of boarding the plane and flying off into the distance, he found himself in a primitive position which made him more and more incredulous about the whole thing.
He felt like giving it another shot. He explained to her once again that he bought a first-class ticket, he was waiting in line like everyone else, and he wasn't planning on going anywhere.
Dress Code
Perhaps he was underdressed and that's what made the woman think he was in the wrong place? No, that wasn't it. Judging by the way the woman was dressed, he was certain she wasn't following any dress code either.
Now he was certain that his assumptions had a strong base, and that this woman in front of him was indeed narrow-minded and primitive. What happened next surprised not only the woman but the entire crowd that was surrounding them.
It Became Crowded
Another thing that crossed Emmit's mind, was why did this woman think that military service people get first-class tickets for free? Or, to straighten things out, why wouldn't a black person be able to afford such a ticket?
People began gathering around them. Emmit couldn't keep the volume down and not only that, the woman confronting him was deliberately speaking out loud.
Explosion
He couldn't hold it in anymore and he snapped. As much as he wanted to, this was too much for him and what started off as a small spark, turned into horrendous flames that exploded out of him uncontrollably.
This woman needed straightening out and Emmit was the one to take care of it. He was going to stand up for himself. What Emmit said next got the whole crowd applauding, and that wasn't all.
He Threw It Back at Her
The woman's face froze as if she had seen a ghost, and she couldn't believe what she had just heard. Her eyes enlarged, her hair looked as if it was struck by lightning, and she, for the first time, was at a loss for words.
What Emmit said was courageous and brilliant. He simply said that no, he wasn't in the military, he simply was a black guy with loads of money. He spoke straight to the point, assuring she, and everyone around fully understood.
He Was the Star of the Show
The crowd went wild. Emmit was applauded as if he just got off stage, which he literally did. They continued to cheer, and he was content. He was at ease as he managed to turn the table over, however, the story hadn't reached its final episode just yet.
Everyone who witnessed what had happened commended Emmit. He stood firm against prejudice and he was admired for that. He decided to take this experience a step further.
Going Social
He published his story on Facebook, expecting only his friends to see it. The last thing that was on his mind, was this Facebook post going viral, making him wish he could turn the clock back, not saying what he said.
Over 250,000 shared his post. Comments poured in, in their thousands all praising Emmit's reaction to the woman's improper behavior. People were amazed by how ignorant and narrow-minded some individuals can actually be.
Media Response
They were surprised that such people still exist. That some people haven't comprehended that it is the 21st century and, thankfully, things have changed. It wasn't long before he would regret everything that had happened.
Soon enough, this would all lead him down a path he wasn't expecting to go down, and he would turn into someone he didn't want to be.
A Change of Thought
Emmit finally arrived at his destination. While he was up in the air, his post was doing some flying too and it was all over the place. It was not only in his local hometown, but it also went global and people from all over the world were exposed to his story.
One would have thought that such publicity would make Emmit thrilled and satisfied, however, he felt everything but satisfied. He was dismayed and alarmed.
Turning Back the Clock
He had plenty of thinking time while on the plane and felt he was gaining publicity for the wrong reasons. He felt that prejudice and ignorance were what brought him fame.
Luckily enough, Emmit was a wise man and he knew exactly what had to be done to fix the situation he found himself in. Some actions had to be taken and there was no time to waste.
Waking Up in Paradise
It was his 37th birthday and Emmit woke up to the sound of singing birds, blue skies, and white sandy beaches. Instead of celebrating his special day in paradise, he realized his post had caused unexpected trouble.
Some readers claimed his post wasn't real, some said he made the whole thing up, and at the end of the day, the purpose of the post was missed, and he couldn't just let it be.
Honesty Will Get You Nowhere
He replied by saying that his story was in fact authentic and that no imagination was used. He carried on by saying that just like the incident, the entire issue was real too and he wasn't making up a single thing.
He added that in retrospect, he should have handled things differently. Maybe he should have left the situation as it was without writing a post to share with the entire world.

He added, that he believed that even when you can't help a person, hurting them is not the answer. Emmit felt at ease after expressing himself once again, but would this bring the story to its end?
Will It Remain a Sad Ending?
Well, apparently not. From what we know, his apology was never accepted. The woman from the airport found it hard to come to terms with what had happened and couldn't find it within herself to forgive.
Will Emmit be able to clean up his conscious, even though the other side was being hard and unaccepting? Who knows? What we do know is that people will forever make mistakes and being able to say sorry is sometimes harder than forgiving.

Until this day Emmit regrets his actions, and he has for sure learned a lesson or two in life. He acknowledges that different people have different ways, and there is no point in trying to educate everyone.
He has since been more discreet on social media and thinks twice before sharing whatever is on his mind. His trip to the Dominican Republic wasn't the last, and he has been traveling the world regularly. And yes, he only travels first class.

The term 'earning' can be used quite loosely. Like in this guy's case, where he thinks crashing a car means earning a new one.
His parents must have done a great job teaching him about how the world works. Still, maybe he should get some additional driving lessons? At this point we don’t even care about all the cars, we’re just worried about his driving.

Out of all the stories that require further explanations this one is the most curious. So many details were left out and we feel like there's something we are missing here. Like who is Brendan? A friend or a foe?
Where is the lake they’re talking about? And why oh why did he throw this person‘s soda in the lake? That’s so rude! We hope he got him a new one.
Just Teach
Today we live in a society where we try to accept everyone and understand everybody's perspectives and insecurities.

Principled people sometimes find that they have to do things the hard way, just to make sure they never steer away from what they believe is the right thing to do. We are totally on board when it comes to listening to your own internal compass.

This girl probably grew up with so much privilege that she didn’t even think that the MacBook is worth more than her hair ever could be! Or maybe not? At this point we are willing to believe anything, maybe her hair actually costs more than that laptop!
Feeling the Pain
They say servers have it the worst, and they know what they're speaking about. Not only do they have to handle rude clients complaining about things they have no control over, sometimes they find themselves getting hit in the chest.
Fortunately, this time it was just a loaf of bread. We couldn't make these things up even if we tried.
Poor Teachers
More than anything else, this must have been incredibly awkward for the teacher, who probably makes a quarter of that sum a year, while her student can't even understand how one would go about being alive with less than $200,000.
If the kid has gotten all the way to high school and doesn't know that some people are not as well off as him (and that some things should just not be said), then we've got a major problem here.
The Aesthetic Tantrum
Pets really make a person feel complete. Having a pet as a child is a good practice for character development. However, choosing your own from an abundance of cuteness can be somewhat overwhelming. The key here is to trust your guts.
You will fall in love with your soul pet at first glance. Unless you are like this person here, who is unwilling to adopt a mixed-breed cat because it won't fit with her specific aesthetic of being ugly on the inside.
Don't Live With Your Family
Most of us move out of our parents' house and in with roommates in order to gain more independence and well... avoid our family. This is why you should never move in with a sibling.
It might sound like a good idea at first, especially if you get along, but trust us when we say this, it never, ever ends well. There is no one more self-entitled and rude than a sister who just dumps her household duties on a different family member!

It is no surprise that people across the whole world would be rude to completely random strangers. We really do not get the point or even the audacity.
This guy shares that some random lady walked up to him in the middle of breakfast and ordered him to finish up quickly. Apparently, she wanted to take a seat for some of her friends, who would reach shortly. Oh, poor Karen, she had to wait in line.
Big Brain Situation
The world is going through so many changes, and the baby boomers are having a hard time with it. We understand the frustration. It is not easy to keep up with all these newly emerging generations, the technology, and new regulations, right?
This is why we often see them acting out in public. This woman here is a hardcore Blizzard expert who claims that she knows exactly the number of chocolate pieces that should be on her ice cream. Being observant is one thing but yelling at the waitress for half an hour is a little extreme.
Animalistic Behavior
Have we finally found the worst person in existence yet? We think we might have. Bringing in another living creature into the house without even consulting your roommate?
We don't think we even have a word to describe a person who would commit such an atrocious act. Is there a chance the pets the roommate took in were more human than their owner? Sounds like there is.
I Know a Guy
We all pull off the "I know a guy" at some point. It sorta adds the godfather image to our day, and honestly, we won't let that edge slide. However, some entitled people go around everywhere claiming their connections. It is not a bad idea if you can get away with it. But if you embarrass yourself by claiming you know someone around, that's just too sad.
This lady here walked up to a store and claimed she was friends with the owner. Unfortunately, she was speaking to the owner at the moment. We just hope she managed to think of a quick recovery soon enough.
No Way I'll Pay
This story does bring out one question — where? Sounds like she can't even afford half the rent! Hypocrisy is a very usual trait for any self-entitled person. They would do as they please while preaching about something completely different.
It is hard to deal with this kind of people since you don't actually want to get your hands dirty. This woman says if her man asks her to pay half of the rent for the apartment they share, she will leave him the same day. That does not even make any sense.
Friend or Foe?
Mistake number one: living with a friend. Not many friendships survive cohabitation. Second mistake: letting a friend stay with you for free. Kindness is beautiful, but it can also backfire.
Not only did this "friend" not pay rent, but he also stole anything he could lay his eyes on. Including a wedding ring! We are not sure why the dad's ring was there, to begin with, but we are sure the roommate somehow thought it was totally his right to take it.

Some self-righteous people go around as if they were the king of the world. They barely have any courtesies or manners. It does not matter where they are or who they are talking to; they are always rude, bordering on what we'd call inhumane.
This guy shared that a random woman on a flight walked up to him and demanded that he leaves the window seat for her son. She could not be any more impolite. This is such a ridiculous way to act in public.
Unforgivable Curse
One thing about self-righteous people is that they never see their own fault. This girl shares that she dumped her boyfriend because he was seriously ill with a disease, something most of us would understand you really should not share with a bunch of people online.
However, now that he has completely recovered, she wants him back. We really are astonished by the audacity of this person... How can she even possibly consider the guy would take her back? People can be so blind sometimes!

They say that Christmas is all about generosity and giving but for many children, and apparently some adults, Christmas is about one thing and one thing only: getting gifts and cash.
This housemate does not believe that participation is its own reward. She's here to win, and get ALL the money, even if her roommates all put in an equal amount of effort. We can speculate which list Santa puts her on...
Take the High Road
Humans are social beings; we need each other's love and support to be happy. Being straightforward is a good thing but being utterly ruthless is not acceptable. We should not demean people just because we do not get along with them. This fair lady seems to believe otherwise.
She managed to ask for an appointment by stating how much she disliked the person. She was so explicit about it that it was absolutely disrespectful. Unsurprisingly, the parlor lady rejected the appointment within a minute.
My Precious
Some fully grown humans have still learned no boundaries. They are so unpredictable. This is a true event where, at a baseball game, an adult was caught on camera snatching the home run ball from a little kid. The kid caught the ball first, and the sheer dishonesty of snatching it left the internet in shock and a bad aftertaste.
Afterward, the team invited the kid to collect a bunch of merchandise, and the adult was banned from further events.
A Bone to Pick
Exam time is one of the most stressful times in a student's life. Many can only hold on by thinking about what they will do, or eat after their final exam.
This guy had a perfect plan, after he is finally done with his tests he will eat some chicken wings. But, someone seemed to think they had the right to get to them first, rude!

It is established that those who feel entitled think that no rules should be applied to them. They would do anything and everything and simply pass the blame on to others. So, if you have self-righteous people around you, better to have your blame game strong. This lady was so offended by her local grocery shop that she would never return there. Why? Now this one is just priceless. Sure, sometimes it rains, and we can’t control it. Pictures are mandatory for weddings, but why oh why would you have them taken outside in the pouring rain?
Nobody gets an umbrella? Except for the bride and groom? Honestly, they probably just look like jerks in their own wedding photos for not giving any of their relatives an umbrella.

This entitled girl resorted to some cunning tactics when she claimed her roommate threatened her. Why? She just didn't want to live with them!
Her plan worked and he got banned. Who knew some terrible people had such elaborate evil tricks in their books? We sure didn't! Now that we know, we're actually more scared than we ever were. Could it be those self-entitled people might actually be harmful?

We all know that one person who corrects everybody's grammar and pronunciation, and whilst (see what we did there?) that person might be an ok person most of the time, at that moment they are the world's most annoying, entitled, and rude person ever.
Imagine trying to sound smart while cutting someone's hair only to have them tell you you're wrong. We hope the hairdresser didn't mess up the guy's hair. Remember that insulting your stylist might result in a bad haircut!

Even in this day and age, you will come across extremely biased people. This makes us wonder, even though our economy is growing, are we growing as human beings? Most probably not! Most of these self-righteous people are so firm regarding their absurd beliefs that they litter everywhere their existence.
This person tweeted that he does not want any migrants in her country. Fortunately, it will be his lawyer to point out how dumb he is since he decided to call him after Twitter suspended his account.

This guy gave the local in-home service facility one-star as they did come to provide services during a category 5 storm in the neighborhood. We are not even sure how to respond to this story anymore.

Our entire human existence is based on false, unrealistic expectations and misunderstandings. Such is the case with this diabolical sublet, who thought that paying someone to live in their apartment is the same as getting a five-star hotel room.
We all know the type of people who hear, or imagine, the word "free" and lose their minds over it. 50 showers a day, with the AC and the washing machine on? It's a no-brainer for these kinds of characters. Luckily for them, she was only a sublet.
