If there is one skincare habit you want to stick to, it is to scrub the makeup off your face before you go to bed. To each their own preferences of makeup removal, but we are here to recommend one in particular — aloe vera makeup wipes you can make from scratch! They are natural, skin-friendly, and super easy to make.
The ingredients
Turn your kitchen into an impromptu lab and gather the following items: a knife, a blender, a measuring cup, a spoon, a pack of cotton pads, a container with a lid, extra virgin olive oil, and of course, an aloe vera leaf (the biggest one you can find).

Aloe ver plants are super easy to grow, and keeping a plant is always a great idea. But if you can get the real thing, pre-packaged aloe vera gel could also do the trick. Just make sure it’s all-natural and doesn’t contain any additives.
The process
With the knife, slice the leaf down the middle and extract that natural gel with a spoon straight into your blender and turn it on. The blender will beat the goo and make it white and frothy. Now, add 2/3 cup of olive oil into the mix and let the blender rip one more time. Then, pour the concoction into the container and throw some cotton pads in there. Close the lid and let the pads soak up as much of the solution as possible.
What’s it good for?
No matter how glamorous you look when you’re wearing bronzer, your skin prefers not to be covered with makeup. It messes up with your face’s natural moisture and stops your pores from breathing properly, which speeds skin aging. Taking it off is necessary, and doing it with natural ingredients is the best way to go about it.

Human skin loves aloe vera. It keeps it moist and soothes irritations. Olive oil has a similar impact on the skin, plus it contains lots of antioxidants and vitamins. Its additional antibacterial properties can also help if you’re suffering from acne.
