The capital of Spain is very majestic, and certainly offers something for every type of traveler. The beautiful gardens of El Retiro park, the wide boulevards in Gran Via street, or the amazing art work at the El Prado Museum are enough to make this city worth visiting.
Go to the famous Cuesta de Moyano to buy a a rare, vintage book, or go eat tapas at any of the bars. Eze, France
Although Eze is really a commune in southeastern France, many call it a 'city'. Eze is located on a hill above the Mediterranean Sea, and has a history dating back to 2000 B.C. Ancient Greek silver has been found around the area, and is now part of a collection at the British Museum.
Since the architecture in Eze is so stunning, many people call the place a village-musee (museum village). One of the little town's most gorgeous and oldest buildings is the Chapelle de la Sainte Croix.
St. Petersburg, Russia
Russia has a fascinating history, and the city of St. Petersburg holds a lot of it. Bordering with the Baltic Sea, this port city is the home of centuries old historic buildings and culture. Not to mention its stunning, incredibly detailed and ornate architecture.
