She also nailed the now-common transition from cast member to social media influencer and has amassed quite a following with her winning personality, life tips, and dating advice. Despite the drama she had on the show, Simone seems to have no hard feelings and has moved on to bigger and better things. We wish her the very best!
Simone Mashile
Simone Mashile had quite the rollercoaster ride on "Below Deck" Season 7. She was known for her romance with deckhand Tanner Sterback, which had its ups and downs throughout the season. She also continually butted heads with returning chief stewardess Kate Chastain.
This led to some very dramatic moments on the yacht. Season 7 was a wild ride, with drama at every turn, but Simone did her best to keep her head up — whether in her romantic life or in her professional one. On a season widely regarded as a total dumpster fire, that might just be the best you can do!
EJ Jansen — Now
After making his mark on "Below Deck," EJ Jansen kept his sights on the yachting world and hasn't stopped since. Instead, he's been busy building his empire, starting not one, not two, but three successful yachting businesses. Talk about a captain with a hustle!
From Top Notch Yachts to Jansen Yacht Group, EJ is proving to be a true entrepreneur. And he's not just focused on his own success — he's also helping aspiring crew members through his online training platform, Yacht University. EJ's passion for boats and yachting has taken him from a junior deckhand to a captain and beyond. The sky's the limit for this charismatic and driven star.
EJ Jansen
EJ Jansen was the quintessential Canadian deckhand who sailed into our hearts on season 5 of “Below Deck." With his rugged good looks, charming personality, and wicked penchant for drama, he quickly became a fan favorite. His time on the show was marked by his feud with fellow deckhand Nico Scholly and his fling with Baker Manning.
Both of these things really got viewers talking. Although it didn't work out in the end, the chemistry between EJ and Baker was undeniable, not to mention incredibly entertaining. EJ's time on “Below Deck” may have been filled with ups and downs, but he definitely left his mark on the show and its fans.
Fraser Olender — Now
While Fraser Olender's career in the "Below Deck" franchise is only beginning (we hope!), we still wanted to put him on this list. Season 11 is currently in the works, and rumor has it that Fraser is returning to his role as chief stew for a second time. While he has been a part of his fair share of drama, fans hope that the now-veteran will provide some much-needed stability to the crew.
Especially since Captain Lee has officially announced his retirement. As we eagerly anticipate his return to our screens, we can only imagine what exciting new adventures and challenges await us in season 11. One thing's for sure — if Fraser's on the crew, we're sure it'll be a good time!
Fraser Olender
Fraser was the charming and affable second stew on "Below Deck" season 9, who quickly won over fans with his wit and humor. However, he truly made history by becoming the first-ever male chief steward in the show's history in season 10. Despite a rocky start and a continually tumultuous season, Fraser showed his true leadership skills and proved to be a force to be reckoned with.
We're so proud to have seen him come into his own! And we're not the only ones: Captain Lee even dubbed him "Mr. Olender" in recognition of his hard work and determination. As we all know, in this world, Captain Lee's praise and respect mean more than anything else.
Rayna Lindsey — Now
Since leaving "Below Deck," Rayna has been on a journey of self-discovery, focusing on her health and personal growth. One of her biggest accomplishments is going sober, something which she announced shortly after the show aired. She has also revealed that she's done with reality TV and is looking forward to pursuing bigger and better things.
Last we heard, Rayna had picked up pole dancing as a form of self-expression and exercise and had started her own beauty business, ASE BEAUTY BAR, where she showcases her skills as a lash technician. It's great to see Rayna thriving in her new ventures, and we can't wait to see what she accomplishes next.
Rayna Lindsey
Rayna Lindsey made a big impression on viewers during her brief time on “Below Deck” season 9. As one of the only Black cast members, she spoke up when chief stewardess Heather Chase used a racial slur while singing a song, sparking a confrontation that quickly went viral. Despite Heather's initial denials, Rayna stood her ground and demanded an apology.
This eventually came both on and off-screen. Throughout the season, Rayna showed strength and grace in the face of adversity, and her willingness to call out racism on a national platform earned her the respect and admiration of many fans. Though her time on the show was short, Rayna made a lasting impact and set an important example for others.
Jake Foulger — Now
After his eventful time on "Below Deck" — and his noted absence from the reunion — Jake has been open about his struggles with mental health and is focusing on his own well-being. Fans have applauded his honesty and bravery in sharing his story, and have expressed their support for him.
While he's taking a break from yachting to work on himself, Jake hasn't ruled out the possibility of returning to "Below Deck" in the future. We're definitely looking forward to seeing more of his fun-loving and quirky personality on the show, but for now, we're just happy to see that he's prioritizing his own health and happiness.
Jake Foulger
Jake was undoubtedly one of the most entertaining crew members on "Below Deck" season 9. He quickly became known for his playful and carefree attitude, as well as a crazy habit of finding himself in the buff. With romantic storylines with Heather Chase and Rayna Lindsey, along with a secret girlfriend — nay, fiancée! — back home, we definitely think he qualified as a full-on womanizer.
While he definitely caused his fair share of drama, Jake kept things interesting on My Seanna. Fans were sad to see him not appear at the reunion, but we have no doubt he'll always be remembered as one of the most fun-loving crew members we've ever seen.
Jen Howell — Now
After her tumultuous season on “Below Deck,” Jen returned to Florida and settled in Jacksonville with her now-teenage daughter. She continued to work in the yachting industry and has even worked her way up to chief stewardess! However, her time on the show seemed to follow her.
And she's spoken out about criticism that she's faced from fellow yachties due to her portrayal in the series. Despite the challenges, Jen worked her way up the ladder, and we're definitely glad to see it. Nowadays, Jen seems to have pivoted to a career in luxury real estate. It's great to see Jen thriving in her post-”Below Deck” life!
Jen Howell
Jen Howell may have been a lightning rod for controversy on "Below Deck," but she certainly kept things interesting! Fans couldn't help but tune in to see what kind of drama she'd get into with her fellow crew members each week. While most controversial crew members fought with one or two of their peers over the seasons, Jen got into an impressive amount of feuds.
Fighting with chief stew Kate and Chef Matt one charter, then fellow stewardess Baker and deckhand Kyle the next was far from ideal. We can only assume this fighting didn't make for a good work environment, but it sure was fun to watch. Love her or hate her, there's no denying that Jen made a lasting impression.
Elizabeth Frankini — Now
Despite her rocky stint on “Below Deck,” Elizabeth Frankini seems to be thriving in the spotlight. The former reality tv star has managed to parlay her fame into a successful career as an influencer, and we think it suits her! With lots of posts of her living her best life in various luxury locations, it seems she's enjoying herself very much.
Did you know she has acting chops too? Yup, she's been in some indie projects, and we wouldn't be surprised to hear if she was looking for more opportunities in front of the camera. One thing's for sure, Elizabeth isn't afraid to take on new challenges! We hope she keeps chasing her dreams.
Elizabeth Frankini
Elizabeth Frankini may have been a free spirit on “Below Deck”, but her lack of focus, or care, if we're being honest, ultimately led to her downfall. After a few charters filled with fooling around, Elizabeth found herself in hot water when caught breaking some crucial important rules, including sleeping in a guest cabin.
This didn't sit well with chief stew Francesca Rubi and Captain Lee, who made the decision to let her go mid-season. Somehow, Elizabeth still seemed surprised by the news! Since leaving the show, Elizabeth has continued her travels, though she has left the yachting industry behind. She may have blamed everyone else for her firing, but it's clear to us she was just not a good fit!
Caroline Bedol — Now
After leaving the "Below Deck" yacht, Caroline Bedol has been taking care of herself and focusing on healing. The former stewardess admitted that she found her experience on the show to be traumatizing, and the last we heard was looking into going back to school and pursuing new opportunities.
Caroline also revealed that she would consider giving the show another shot as a third stew — though we haven't seen any evidence of that yet! While she has been relatively quiet since her season aired, fans are excited to see what the future holds for this adventurous yachtie. Here's to hoping that Caroline finds her inner peace and returns to the small screen with her trademark wit and charm.
Caroline Bedol
Caroline Bedol was a third stewardess on "Below Deck" season 6 who made quite the impression during her very short time on the show. She arrived with quite the resume, showing off her knowledge from past charters, so expectations were high! However, things quickly took a turn for Caroline.
She suffered a few injuries and struggled to get along with other crew members, and ultimately made the dramatic decision to quit in the middle of charter season. It was a shocking move, but one that kept fellow stews Kate and Josiah absolutely thrilled — we may recall a dance number or two in honor of her departure! We, on the other hand, were left wondering what could have been.
Tanner Sterback — Now
Since leaving "Below Deck," Tanner Sterback has experienced quite the adventure. Unfortunately, he suffered a severe accident while riding his electric skateboard home which landed him in the ICU with a fractured skull and various other injuries. Thank goodness he's a fighter, and with the help of amazing doctors and his family, Tanner is now on the mend.
He keeps his fans in the loop and has opened up about his new struggles with anxiety and depression, along with other effects he's still feeling from the accident. We hope that Tanner continues to heal, and we're glad to be along for the ride! Who knows, maybe he'll make a triumphant return to "Below Deck" in the future.
Tanner Sterback
Tanner Sterback — the mama's boy with a heart of gold and a penchant for partying. During his stint on “Below Deck” season 7, Tanner proved that he could work hard and play hard. Whether he was hooking up with his fellow crewmate Simone, unsuccessfully courting chief stewardess Kate, or calling home on his days off, Tanner was always on the move.
His mother's warnings to be careful didn't quite deter him from stirring up some romantic drama on board, but we say that's all part of the fun! Life at sea may not have been his truest passion, but Tanner's laid-back personality and Long Island charm held a special place in our hearts during his time on the show.
Kyle Dixon — Now
What has former deckhand Kyle Dixon been up to since leaving the show? Well, the charming Brit has been busy with his own charter company, Meerkat Madness Charters, taking guests on luxurious yachting adventures. Kyle has also dabbled in reality TV, appearing on "Smuggled," a show about sneaking into Britain.
This proved that he's still got a bit of the adventurous spirit we all loved on “Below Deck.” These days, Kyle enjoys a quieter life, spending time with his loyal canine companion, Luna, and sharing memories from his time on the yacht with fans. While Kyle may not be making a comeback on “Below Deck” anytime soon, we'll always have fond memories of his colorful personality and accent.
Kyle Dixon
Who could forget Kyle Dixon — the smooth-talking deckhand with an accent as thick as clotted cream? His love life was nothing if not complicated, and viewers couldn't get enough of the romantic drama he brought to "Below Deck." Although he got off to a good start, Kyle soon found himself embroiled in love triangles and struggled to handle rejection.
While his personal life caused a stir on board, his infectious sense of humor helped diffuse tense situations. But let's be honest, Kyle's behavior sometimes caused more problems than it solved — especially his treatment of fellow crew member Jen Howell when he returned for season 5. Despite the drama, we have to admit, Kyle made for some entertaining television.
Brianna Adekeye — Now
Since her time on "Below Deck," Brianna Adekeye has continued to live life on her own terms. She's still the laidback and free-spirited individual that fans fell in love with during season 5, though we would have been surprised if that had changed! Instead of sticking to a traditional career path, Brianna has been traveling the world and exploring her creative side.
From sharing her abstract art on Instagram to trying her hand at being a yacht chef, she's always up for trying something new. Although fans would love to see her back on “Below Deck,” it's clear that Brianna is embracing her nonconformist ways, and experiencing life at the fullest.
Brianna Adekeye
Brianna Adekeye's stint on "Below Deck" season 5 was a breath of fresh air for viewers who were tired of the constant drama! As the chill and conflict-averse second stew, Brianna stood out for her laidback attitude and work ethic — something we don't get to see a lot of on this drama-filled show.
Even though third stewardess Jennifer Howell tried to stir up tension between Brianna and Kate Chastain, Brianna never let the conflict get to her. She kept her cool and continued to impress with her skills, her friendliness, and her even temper. Brianna's presence on the show was a reminder that not all reality TV personalities need to be loud and combative to be interesting.
Ashling Lorger — Now
Since her time on "Below Deck," Ashling Lorger has been busy building her career as a model and influencer, promoting a range of products on social media. However, she has also remained connected to the show, often appearing on "Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen" to discuss her experience while she was there.
Lorger has made it clear that she is open to returning to the series if given the opportunity, and her dedication to being the best stewardess she can be would make her a valuable asset to any yacht crew. Whether or not it will happen, we'll have to wait and see!
Ashling Lorger
Ashling Lorger's journey on "Below Deck" was quite the adventure! After leaving her career as a hairdresser and business owner behind, she found herself working as a third stew on a yacht, allowing her to fulfill her desire for travel. While on board, Lorger had to navigate some drama caused by a fellow crew member, Elizabeth Frankini.
Her work ethic was found lacking by chief stew Francesca Rubi. Lorger remained dedicated to following the rules and ensuring guest safety, and by keeping her head down, she was able to move up to second stew when Frankini was fired. We don't know what her plans are, but Lorger seems like a perfect candidate for future seasons of "Below Deck."
Sam Orme — Now
While she wasn't necessarily thriving as a yachtie, it seems Sam Orme has come a long way since her time on "Below Deck" season 1. Not only did she return to a job as Vice President at a solar energy company, but she also holds a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, which is endlessly impressive.
She is now the Enterprise Program Manager at Fidelity National Information Services — a ways away from the life she left at sea. On a personal level, Sam is happily married with a family, and absolutely adores her furry companion, Ed. It's always heartwarming to see former reality stars doing well in their personal and professional lives, even long after their time in the spotlight.
Sam Orme
Sam Orme may have had a short stint on "Below Deck," but she made sure to leave a lasting impression on viewers! As the third stew in Season 1, she wasn't afraid to speak her mind, which led to some tense moments with the chief stew Adrienne Gang. Orme's disregard for authority and love for breaking the rules was on full display.
She and Second Engineer C.J. LeBeau, who had a mid-season romance, were caught with beer during a charter. Despite the misstep, Orme managed to keep her job until the end of the season, but ultimately realized the yacht life wasn't for her. Although she left the show, her bold personality is still remembered today.
James Hough — Now
James Hough may have wrapped up his time on “Below Deck,” but he's been keeping himself busy and living life to the fullest! With his sculpted physique and good looks, it's no surprise that James has been hitting the gym and sharing his workout journey with his fans. But he's not just about pumping iron and breaking a sweat.
He's also been spending quality time with his beloved mother and enjoying all the fun London has to offer. Although he's kept his followers in suspense about his next yachting adventure, there's no doubt that James will continue to dazzle and charm us with his upbeat personality and positive outlook on life.
James Hough
James Hough brought his charming Northern England accent to the "Below Deck" crew in season 8 as a deckhand on the My Seanna. Despite his reputation as a flirt, James was determined to keep his job afloat and not let his desires get in the way. It took him a little while to connect with the rest of the crew.
But once he got comfortable, he set his sights on second stewardess Elizabeth Frankini. Their flirtations caused quite a stir on the boat, including a run-in with chief stewardess Francesa Rubi. In a major twist, their dalliance eventually cost Elizabeth her job. But through it all, James did his best to remain upbeat and keep things sailing smoothly.
Ross Inia — Now
After his dramatic departure from "Below Deck," Ross Inia found himself in some hot water of a different kind. The yachtie got into a scuffle with a couple of guys and even punched a police officer while in Florida, resulting in some legal troubles. However, Inia's charges were later dropped to misdemeanors.
He pled guilty to a single charge of disorderly intoxication. Since then, he's been keeping a low profile and focusing on the most important person in his life: his son Kai. While he may not have returned to the show, it's safe to say that Inia has dropped anchor in Florida and is happily sailing through life with his little first mate!
Ross Inia
Ross Inia made a name for himself on "Below Deck" Season 6 as a deckhand who quickly rose up the ranks, replacing Chandler Brooks as bosun after the latter proved himself to be less than capable. With his easy-going demeanor and fair leadership style, Inia won over fans and even earned the praise of Captain Lee Rosbach himself.
While he faced some challenges in his new role, he was still considered a better leader than his predecessor, at least according to us, and according to fellow deckhand Rhylee Gerber. Although Inia hasn't made a second appearance on the show, he remains a very memorable member of the "Below Deck" crew.
Kevin Dobson — Now
Since leaving "Below Deck," Kevin has continued to dazzle with his culinary skills. The talented chef can still be found whipping up delectable dishes as a freelance yacht chef in exotic locations. He also shares his love for cooking on his YouTube channel, "Small Town Cook," where he dishes out mouthwatering recipes for his fans to try out.
Kevin may be living a low-key life, but it’s clear his passion for creating amazing food hasn't waned. He's also focused on being a devoted dad to his daughter, making sure to balance work and family. It's clear that Kevin's time on “Below Deck” was just a part of his culinary journey.
Kevin Dobson
Kevin Dobson had an interesting journey on "Below Deck" season 7, especially with the tension between him and his chief stew Kate Chastain. Kevin's high expectations for service led him to constantly clash with Kate and he wasn't afraid to call her out on it. However, he wasn't perfect himself.
His forgetfulness during a charter dinner with Captain Lee Rosbach was one we'll certainly remember for a while. Despite the rocky relationships with some of his fellow crew members, Kevin managed to prove himself in the end and stepped up his game for the rest of the charter season. Love him or hate him, It's safe to say Kevin made a lasting impression!
Francesca Rubi — Now
Since finishing her stint as chief stew on "Below Deck," Francesca Rubi has been keeping herself busy. The Australian beauty decided to use her time off from yachting to pursue her passion for fitness and became a certified Pilates instructor. More recently, Francesca was also announced as the new ambassador for the luxurious Sanctuary Cove Marina.
Her love for the ocean and boating made this role a perfect fit for her, and we can only imagine how excited she is to share her passion with others. Even though she's no longer on “Below Deck,” Francesca's charismatic personality and infectious energy continue to make her a joy to follow both on and off the screen.
Francesca Rubi
Despite the challenge of replacing the veteran chief stewardess Kate Chastain, Francesca Rubi came into season 8 of "Below Deck" with charm, professionalism, and impressive organizational skills. She quickly won over viewers with her Aussie wit and easy-going demeanor, proving that she was a worthy successor to the previous chief stew.
She had her fair share of drama on the boat, including an ongoing feud with stewardess Elizabeth, but she managed to put it behind her and still get her job done. By the end of the season, Francesca had earned the respect and admiration of her crew and viewers alike, cementing her place as a beloved chief stew in the “Below Deck” franchise.
Kat Held — Now
It seems like Kat Held has charted a new course for herself after her time on "Below Deck." After her final season, the Rhode Island beauty ventured onto land, trying her hand at waitressing and registering for nursing school. She's now making a living in Las Vegas as a bartender, using the service skills she learned on the water.
Though she may have left the high seas, we're sure Kat's still got the sassy attitude that made her a dynamo on our screens. And let's be honest, who doesn't love a bartender with a bit of attitude? From exotic travels to a potential venture into the CBD world, we can't wait to see what adventures Kat has in store!
Kat Held
Kat Held was a force to be reckoned with during her time on "Below Deck" seasons 1 and 2. The blonde beauty was always at the center of the drama and never shied away from stirring the pot. Whether it was her feud with Chief Stew Adrienne Gang or her boatmance with Chef Ben Robinson, Kat kept viewers on the edge of their seats.
Despite her penchant for breaking the rules, fans couldn't help but love her infectious personality and iconic one-liners. And no one can forget her infamous and utterly relatable motto — "Kat wants to go to the bar." She may have left the show after the second season, but Kat's impact on "Below Deck" will never be forgotten.
Rhylee Gerber — Now
Since leaving "Below Deck," Rhylee has been living life on her own terms, and boy, does it seem like a wild ride! Rhylee went back to Alaska post-show to continue her previous career on fishing boats. However, she soon found herself living in her trusty van, traveling across the United States in search of adventure.
From the mountains of Montana to the sunny beaches of Florida, Rhylee is living proof that life is one big adventure. And from what we can see, she's not just surviving; she's thriving. Rhylee shows us all that you don't need to conform to the traditional 9-5 lifestyle to be happy, and we love her for it!
Rhylee Gerber
Say what you will, but Rhylee was certainly a force to be reckoned with on "Below Deck." Her outspokenness and fiery energy made her a standout player, and only sometimes in a good way. After a relatively smooth season 6, Rhylee returned to the yacht mid-season in season 7 and found herself in a trickier position.
Throughout the season, Rhylee found herself in constant conflict with at least one member of the deck crew, with Ashton Pienaar being a frequent sparring partner. Even at the reunion, Rhylee explained how she didn't feel valued by her crew, and how frustrated she had been throughout the season. Regardless of the drama, we were happy to see her back on our screens.
Brian de Saint Pern — Now
After the show, Brian continued to sail the high seas, working hard as a decky (not a yachtie!) and even taking certifications in Fort Lauderdale to become a captain one day. He's been working steadily towards that goal, even advancing to bosun on a superyacht he worked on in Greece. But it's not all work and no play for this adventurous sailor.
He's been surfing the waves in exotic locations like Spain and Indonesia and even took up freediving. And let's not forget about the ladies — Brian continues to enjoy the attention of the fairer sex as he parties his way around the world. Will we see him back on “Below Deck” for a redemption arc? Only time will tell!
Brian de Saint Pern
Brian de Saint Pern was the charming and dashing Lead Deckhand who won fans' hearts in the early days of "Below Deck" season 7. His romantic pursuit of Second Stew Courtney Skippon was straight out of a fairytale, and viewers couldn't help but root for the couple.
Unfortunately, things took a turn for the worse when the toxic male vs. female dynamic of the crew couldn't help but seep into their relationship. In the end, Brian showed a less admirable side to himself — both in his relationship with Courtney, and with his treatment of the rest of the women on board. We're sad to say he finished off the season with a hefty "villain" edit!
Nico Scholly — Now
After weathering the storm of drama and controversy on “Below Deck,” Nico has found his footing in a new career and a new romance. The former deckhand went back home and joined his family's plumbing business in Chicago. He is also actively involved in the Tristen Scott Foundation — an organization that raises awareness for organ donation that was started by his family in honor of Nico's brother.
In matters of the heart, Nico seems to have put his playboy ways behind him and has been happily coupled up for some time now. Nico certainly stepped out of the limelight post-show, and his journey is a testament to his growth and maturity. We couldn't be happier for him!
Nico Scholly
Nico came aboard the "Below Deck" yacht in season 4 as a charming and hardworking deckhand. When he returned in season 5, however, his second go-round was not as smooth as his first. While facing drama with temporary bosun EJ Jansen and dealing with heartbreak from his recent breakup, Nico attempted to pursue a romantic relationship with crew member Brianna Adekeye.
Unfortunately, he realized that he still had feelings for his ex and ended things. Nico's time on the yacht was also complicated by the recent loss of his brother, and he later realized he used the charter as an escape from a very tough reality. We really felt for him, and think he proved to be a resilient crew member.
Rocky Dakota — Now
After leaving "Below Deck," Rocky Dakota has been living her best life on the beautiful island of Hawaii. She's been riding the waves as a surfer, diving into the ocean as a competitive national diver, and whipping up delicious meals as a cook — all things she had dreamed of doing years before.
Rocky also found love and has been exploring the great outdoors together with her beau. Though she went through a heartbreaking tragedy with the loss of her sister in 2017, Rocky has been using her platform to help others who have experienced similar situations. It seems like Rocky has found happiness away from the reality TV world — we don't see her coming back to it anytime soon.
Rocky Dakota
Rocky Dakota was a true firecracker during her time on “Below Deck.” Her infectious energy was both loved and loathed by those around her, but there was never a dull moment when Rocky was on screen. She had a bit of a ~rocky~ start to the season, getting into a spat with chief stew Kate Chastain.
But she managed to turn things around and formed close bonds with some of her fellow crewmates, including deckhand Emilie and bosun Eddie. Who can forget the time she went for an impromptu swim off the yacht, hoping to get fired? Since leaving the show, Rocky has stayed out of the spotlight, but her drama-filled moments on “Below Deck” will always be remembered.
Matt Burns — Now
After leaving "Below Deck" after just one season, Matt Burns returned to his roots in Canada, where he's been cooking up a storm as a private chef. While he's kept a low profile since leaving the show, he occasionally pops up on social media to show off his latest culinary creations.
With his talent for creating mouth-watering dishes, it's no surprise that he's thriving in the private chef world.
