Pauley Perrette started her acting career working in commercials, voice-over projects, music videos, and short films. On NCIS, María José de Pablo Fernández, also known as Cote de Pablo, played Ziva David, a former Israeli Mossad officer who eventually became an NCIS special agent. In 2013, it was made public by CBS that the Chilean-American actress would part ways with NCIS, due to personal reasons, although she did manage to stay long enough to conclude Ziva David's storyline at the start of Season 11.

Deadline Hollywood also revealed on August 28th, 2018, that Cote de Pablo and former NCIS co-star, Michael Weatherly, would serve as the executive producers of the soon to be released CBS detective drama, MIA, written by Shepard Boucher.
Cote de Pablo publicly shares a relationship with Ecuadorian-born American actor, Diego Serrano, although the two were reported to have separated in June 2015. As a result of the intense fight scenes in NCIS, de Pablo became injured a number of times, including her neck and back areas. Today, she resides in Los Angeles, working towards her next big role on TV and film.

On October 4, 2017, the TV Guide revealed that Pauley Perrette would be making her final performance on NCIS at the end of the 15th season – The American actress announced the move on Twitter with the post, “…it was a decision made last year. All the love, all the laughter, all the inspiration…I love her as much as you do.”

Daniel Sofia Korn Ruah began her career in Portuguese soap operas as a teenage actress. Ruah did her first stint in acting at the age of 16, as Sara, in the soap opera Jardins Proibidos ("Forbidden Gardens"). Two years later, she flew to London and enrolled in the Performing Arts School at London Metropolitan University.
Kensi Blye, Ruah’s character, appeared on the first season of NCIS in 2011, as a crossover guest appearance from another crime drama series, Hawaii Five-0. The Special Agent had a rough time growing up as a kid after her father got murdered, and had to survive on the streets for a significant portion of her life. Amidst her troubled past, though, Kensi manages to keep a professional attitude while on the job.
