American singer Jason Derulo made headlines in 2015. Newspapers worldwide reported that Derulo had fallen all of the stairs at the Met Gala, almost as if diving into purpose. The photo, which didn’t exactly show Derulo’s face, went viral overnight, and everybody talked about it.
However, it turned out that it wasn’t Derulo at all! The unlucky guy who had fallen was an anonymous attendee, who hit the stairs pretty hard even though several ushers tried to stop it.
Katy Perry Slips on a Cake
Katy Perry is known for giving memorable shows, and the 2008 MTV Latin America Music Awards was certainly unforgettable. Perry jumped into a giant, human-sized cake after the end of a song, and it was incredibly amusing. However, when she tried to leave the stage when the performance ended, she slipped on the cake remains.
Katy got cake everywhere - all over herself, all over the stage, all over her clothes. But her band found it quite hilarious. Although the stage looked absolutely disgusting, and we truly feel sorry for the cleaning staff that had to come in afterward.
Kristen Stewart Needs a Stronger Grip
The 'Twilight' movies were a huge hit back in the day, and in 2009, their star Kristen Stewart won a Golden Popcorn award for Best Female Performance at the MTV Music Awards. Just as she started leaving the stage after accepting, the award fumbled out of her hands, and she dropped it!
The statue broke, leaving Stewart with half the prize and an incredible amount of embarrassment. Maybe the Golden Popcorn was just too heavy for Stewart's fragile hands.
Melissa Joan Hart’s Facial Disaster
Actress Melissa Joan Hart has been on the screen since the 90s, so she's no stranger to being in front of cameras. However, Sabrina, the Teenage Witch, had certainly never been caught looking like this! At the premiere of 'Frozen,' Hart hadn't exactly finished doing her makeup.
Any makeup artist knows that face powder must be blended in, so the foundation doesn't show on flash photography. But apparently, Hart's makeup artist hadn't done this properly, and the actress went out to pose on the red carpet with a weird glare. Finally, Hart got out of the spotlight, and someone told her about the situation. We bet she was mortified.
Cara Delevigne Causes a Scene
At the 2014 GQ Men of the Year Awards, the model-turned-actress, Cara Delevigne, caused quite the scene. After she nearly spilled her drink all over a famous fashion designer standing close by, Cara somehow lost her balance and fell over the poor man!
As she was trying to grab onto him to prevent herself from falling, they both went down, rolling all over the floor. Obviously, they were both dressed in very expensive high couture that got messed up and dirty, but at least the two managed to laugh about it, at least in front of the cameras. Then, Cara stood right back up and rushed to get another drink!
