Let’s face it; crooked chompers can make the spotlight swing in the opposite direction. Here are plenty of celebs who have gone in to make sure they have red-carpet-ready teeth.
Roberto Firmino
The Brazilian soccer player plays for the British Liverpool team and for his national team. For years he had everything going for him. Everything except for his teeth. By the looks of it, he too realized that something had to be done.
Apparently, he had them whitened, he had them straightened and he had some small chips filled in. A complete overall to improve his performance.
Ronaldinho
There is a lot we can say to slag Ronaldinho off, however, there is not a lot we can say about his soccer performances. In his prime, he was the best of the best, and even today he is considered one of the best players of his generation. But what about those teeth?
In 2013 Ronaldinio said enough is enough and went through extensive dental work. He said farewell to his goofy grin and left one of his trademarks behind.
Jurgen Klopp
The Liverpool manager is one of the best soccer managers in the world. He began his soccer life as a player, became a coach in 2001, and has been coaching ever since. His bottom row teeth have been through their own share of progress over the years.
As it seems, with the money so do the opportunities come, and Klopp took the opportunity when money came his way. In 2017, fans began noticing that something about his smile had changed. Klopp hasn't stopped smiling since.
Gareth Bale
It takes more than knowing how to kick a ball to become of the greatest soccer players in the world. And being British isn't enough either. Gareth Bale realized this a few years ago and came to terms that if he wanted to be remembered, he had to do something about those teeth.
So now that his teeth are fixed, he can sit back and allow the title of "one of the most talented soccer players in the world" to float above him. It wouldn't have worked without those teeth being repaired.
Luka Modric
Luka Modric was born in 1985 with a crooked set of teeth, but a great talent for soccer. That talent didn't help his teeth get any straighter and while he was building his soccer reputation, he was also planning to get those teeth sorted.

One of our Brazilian entries on the list is presumably one of the most successful athletes (not only soccer players) in the world. After signing a contract with PSG, it was time not only to kick the ball but also to do something about his smile.

The American soccer player plays not only for his national team, but also adorns the field in his Chelsea uniform. Not only that, but he has also been earning an obscene amount of money and he has known exactly what to do with it.

She's the queen of going under the knife to maintain her perfect appearance, so it should come as no surprise that this famous singer has gotten her dental work shifted into a pristine place. She's gone onto Twitter to brag about her smile, which means she's obviously thanking the dentists and oral surgeons who did the work, right?
She's tried it all, and she recommends veneers over caps to her followers. Back when she became famous – all the way back in the seventies – she had four front teeth that looked like the busted keys of a broken piano, but thanks to all the work she's had done, they're now out-of-the-box perfect.

How bad were Watson's teeth? While she was filming some of the “Harry Potter” movies, she had to wear fake teeth. That bad. Her teeth were chipped and uneven and an unattractive yellow color. Far from the perfect teeth we're used to on the screen. Today, however, her teeth and smile are both perfect. After years of work with braces, whiteners, and over options, she got the star-quality smile that is always a help to a person's movie career.
Across the pond, dental health means something a little different – while in the United States, it's seen as best to have straight, white teeth, in the United Kingdom, it isn't. It's why the British cliché of nasty teeth first appeared.

The right dental work can change a person's face from a brutish thug to a mega-star, and there's no better example than Tom Cruise. A gap-toothed grin is adorable when a young lad is still in the growing stages, but once that young lad wants to be a big grown-up movie star, the look loses its popularity. Zac Efron had this issue, which is why he had to have so much work done to his smile as he grew older. With braces, bleaching, and blonding, the once-Disney star now has a perfect set of teeth.
Unlike many of the stars on this list, he didn't get veneers (unless there's something he's not telling us), which means his smile is a little more natural. His grin is still a little lopsided thanks to his lips and muscles, but that can't really be changed. Plus, it's kinda cool.
Demi Moore
A lot of the celebs on this list have common problems like crooked teeth or stained enamel. Moore, however, had those and more – her front teeth fell out due to stress. It forced her to not only get dental work done but also needed to change up her life. Even the teeth that didn't fall out were uneven and yellow.
After plenty of work, she now has two perfect rows of shiny teeth, and she's made changes to her life to keep them in better shape. We hope she's flossing. A lot of people think that she looks better now than she did when she was younger, and her smile is a big reason why.

Ronaldo had humble beginnings. Born in Portugal, this lad had no idea he was going to grow up to be the first billionaire soccer player in the world. His teeth certainly didn't since they decided to stick out at odd angles like a pile of clay bricks. We've already seen lots of celebs that have a mess of a mouth and really needed the work done. There are also some who had perfectly reasonable teeth – just not perfect. She was covered in makeup, wore ripped jeans, and had plenty of attitude, but she still charmed people with her rendition of “Turn My Swag On.” She's now a world-famous singer with three studio albums out to enjoy.

In the 2000s, we got a bunch of fearless, frankly, stupid guys who pulled pranks and tried stunts that could have easily landed them in the hospital – and often did – or worse. Stephen Gilchrist Glover, known better as Steve-O, was one of the gutsier members of the group. It seems we're never going to get tired of talking about Markle. She married into the royal family, but she now seems to be on the outs with the queen and experiences ongoing tensions with the royal family.
While her personal and public life is all kinds of up in the air now, her teeth look perfect after getting some braces and whitening done when she started to make it big as an actress. Before the treatments, she had a little bit of a gap in her teeth and they were a bit uneven, but now she's as pretty as an ex-princess can be.

She's one of the best up-and-coming stars in Hollywood these days, getting her start by blowing everyone away in the first season of "Stranger Things" when she was only twelve. Once again, the curse of British dentistry strikes again – yes, she's British.
