Sam Phan Bok
Sam Phan Bok or the Grand Canyon of Thailand, located in Ubon Ratchathani, has a natural land formation and a river with little pools of water. As far as the river stretches – basins, various depressions, and 3000 holes in the ground fill the area.
Koh Hingham
This island, also known as the Black Pebble Island, is off the coast of Koh Lipe. It is an uninhabited island believed to be protected by the God of Tarutao, a Thai deity who curses anyone who takes a pebble off the island.
Erawan Waterfalls
Erawan Waterfalls in Kanchanaburi Province comprises seven tiers and layers of emerald green ponds named after the three-headed white elephant from Hindu mythology. The top tier of the falls resembles the elephant’s head while each section of the waterfall has different features.
Mo Hin Khao
Also known as the Thai Stone Henge, Mo Hin Khao is located at Phu Laen Kha National Park in Chaiyaphum. It draws visitors for its odd rock formations protruding from the ground. No one knows how these rock formations were formed or their age.
Pha Singh Liao
Pha Singh Liao, also called Pha Chor, is a major tourist attraction in Chiang Mai due to its unusual rock formations caused by erosion, wind, and rain. Before erosion formed these tall cliffs and hills, the area was a part of the Ping River.
The Bell Temples
Wat Chaloem Phra Kiat Phrachomklao Rachanusorn (known in English as The Bell Temples) in Lampang is a temple complex perched atop a rocky hill with white bell-like stupas on top of the rocks. It is believed that a footprint of the Buddha was found here.
