Céline Dion is a style icon. Though she’s a famous singer, her love towards haute-couture and her eye for style continues to defy the trends in the fashion industry. It is no surprise that a woman who’s as intelligent, influential and famous as she is, still keeps fashion editors from across the world anticipating her next look. In an interview with a U.K. based editorial, The Sun, she expressed how she doesn’t care what the world thinks about her style, body, and her life in general. Her success as a musician made her a subject of lots criticism and opinions, from media, fans and haters alike.

A controversy rose three years after her mentor and husband, René Angélil died, as reporters spotted her going out with a 34-year-old trainer and dancer Pepe Muñoz, who worked with Dion on her now-closed Las Vegas residency. She claims that no one knows anything about their relationship and that they are just gestures of close friends. Miss Dion appears to be unbothered with the negative things that people say about her and her best friend. She shuts down the whole lover thing with “I am single, please, leave me alone. Thanks.” As for her style choices, Dion chose to stay fit and healthy, breaking the stigma that only younger celebrities can change their bodies and wear whatever they want. She wants to feel beautiful, strong, sexy and feminine. Hence, her new narrative of being an empowered woman who wears whatever she wants and quite impeccably at that.
