Before we dig deep into the list of women Chris Evans had a thing with, let's see where he comes from and what he is all about. There is much more to him than just sliding into the boots of Captain America.
He was born in 1981 and began his career in 2000 when he was 20 years old. "Opposite Sex" was his breakthrough, and he rose to fame when he began appearing as Marvel Comics characters, Captain America being the most recognizable one.
A 1950s Star
Other than acting, a big love of his is tap dancing. Now, it can be difficult to imagine the marvelous Marvel star tapping along, but he is so good and talented that he is slated to play the role of the legendary dancer Gene Kelly in an upcoming project.
At one point in his life, he was so into dancing that he was considering dropping acting altogether and investing his time in dance. Luckily for him (and for us), his mother persuaded him to stick to acting.
Kate Bosworth — 2000s
Almost two decades ago, while filming "The Newcomers", Chris was introduced to Kate Bosworth, however, they were romanticly involved for a very short time.
The couple seemed very close to one another on set but insisted that whatever started at the filming location ended there. They were young, they were free, and they have never been spotted together since.

In 2021 Kate shared on Instagram, a bunch of old photos of her and Chris looking very young and adorable. Most of the photos were taken during their joint work in the movie they starred in together.
It was Evans's first big movie role, and Kate came with a richer portfolio and a memorable role in "The Horse Whisperer". In one of the photos, Kate added; " "Hey, Capt. America, a little help pls?? (asking for a 15 yr old from the late '90s...) @chrisevans." Evans hasn't responded yet.
Kate Bosworth — Today
Bosworth is deep in the industry and continues to shine. She has starred in "The Devil Has a Name," and "Before I Wake." She has even expanded her options and joined a series on the National Geographic channel.
As for her love life, since March 2022, she has been involved with Justin Long, however, this came after a very long and very public relationship with Michael Polish.
Jessica Biel — 2001
Chris and Jessica were together for just over five years. They first met in 2001, and funny enough, they played a couple in two movies, "London" and "Cellular." The two were so serious that the big questions almost popped.
In 2006, they decided to go their separate ways, saying goodbye to each other and saying goodbye to all the rumors that surrounded the two.
The Longest One
As of today, Jessica Biel has been Chris Evans's longest relationship. The two would expose their love on social media, including skydiving they went on, for one Valentine's Day celebration.
In 2005, Biel was interviewed, and she spared no words about Evans and how he was as a boyfriend. He was very romantic, and one of those guys who spread rose petals on her bed to say I love you.

In October 2021, Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake celebrated ten years of marriage. And although years have gone by and they have known their ups and downs, they are rock solid.
They met in 2007 and became one of the most talked about couples in the industry. Apparently, the two have an agreement that if Timberlake dares to play around, he will be obliged to pay Biel $500,000.
Christina Ricci — 2007
Chris Evans and Christina Ricci were a super duper couple. In 2007 Chris and Christina walked the Met Gala carpet together, and although they never spoke openly about their relationship, something was going on between them.
Two months after the grand red carpet appearance, the two decided to end what had just started, and each went on to find someone else to escort them to the next grand event.
Was There Anything to Hide?
Christina Ricci and Chris Evans were not only walking the red carpet, but they were also reportedly seen walking down some boulevard hand in hand, appearing to look like any other couple in love.
Assumptions were made too soon as, despite the couple trying, there were no fireworks between the two, and the fling between them lasted from May 2007 until September of the same year.

She is known for the dark, edgy characters she plays, and besides starring in Hollywood, she is the spokeswoman for RAINN and juggles her career and bringing up her children.
In 2009, Christina was engaged to Owen Benjamin, however, as soon as that story ended, she began dating James Heerdegen until eventually marrying him in 2013. That ended seven years later, and in 2020 Ricci married Mark Hampton, who she has been with since.
Dianna Agron — 2011
The glitter between beautiful "Glee" star Dianna Agron and Chris Evans began sparkling in 2011. They were seen together in some Oscar after-dark party, and from afar, it seemed the two couldn't get their hands off one another.
Their so-called relationship didn't really develop into something worth mentioning. Apparently, Dianna had just broken up with Alex Pettyfer, and Evans was standing in as a rebound.
Party-Banned
As it turned out, Alex Pettyfer was banned from the so-called Oscar party. We are not sure exactly what happened, but his tantrums and unexcitable behavior earned him that ban.

Ashley Greene — 2011
There's a big difference between having a relationship and being seen dancing in public. Chris Evans and Ashley Greene were seen standing very, very close to one another at a Holywood party. Eyewitnesses say the chemistry between the two was felt from a distance.
This all happened not long after Greene ended her relationship with Joe Jonas, so things weren't too serious between the two, and Evans was again performing as the rebound.
Much Ado About Nothing
The tabloids didn't spare time or words; before anyone knew it, the headlines were everywhere: Captain America and Ashley Greene are at it. Green refused to comment about her breakup with Jonas, and Evans kept quiet too.

Minka Kelly — 2007 to 2015
Chris Evans and Minka Kelly were on and off for more than three years. It is thought that already in 2007, the two had something going on. In 2012 a picture of the couple kissing went viral, and by 2013 they had separated for the first time.
In 2015, Evans and Kelly were seen again hanging out together and looking extremely close to one another; however, this was probably not meant to be, as they soon broke up.
Can't Say No to a Captain
So apparently, Evans and Kelly initially broke up because both of their careers became too hectic, and neither could find any time to nourish the relationship. This was before Evans became Captain America.

Minka Kelly — Today
Minka, among other things, is busy playing Samantha in "Euphoria", she is booked way in advance, and her Hollywood career is blooming. This is not something we can say about her love life.
Between 2020 and 2021, Minka dated Trevor Noah, and soon after, she began a relationship with Dan Raynolds, wh0 she has been seeing since. They've been going steady for a while now, however, no wedding bells are heard.
Sandra Bullock — 2014
Sandra Bullock is probably the biggest name on its list. Evans has admitted that years before he and Sandra got things going, he had a huge crush on her. She was his favorite Hollywood star.
In 2014 his dreams came true, and the couple was seen hanging out together quite a bit. The two denied that something serious was happening, however, they did say that they were getting to know each other better.
She Always Had Time for a Joke
There are more than 16 years between the two, but this never stopped the two from being drawn to one another. Bullock even joked when the press started bringing up some bizarre speculations about the two.
When rumors began to spread about their so-called relationship, she told the press "We’ve since married, but it started breaking us apart, so we separated." Evans and Bullock remain good friends.
Sandra Bullock — Today
In the past few years, Sandra Bullock has stepped back from acting and decided to spend her days around the things she loves and the people that make her happy.
She tends to keep her love life a secret. She was married to Jesse James, but they divorced in 2010, and she had started a strong relationship with Bryan Randall in 2015, and they were bringing up her kid together. Sadly though, Randall passed away in 2023.

Lily Collins is another star on our list and in Chris's past. You most probably recognize her from the big Netflix hit "Emily in Paris", and of course, from being Phil Collins's daughter. She had a short thing going on with Chris Evans too.
Evans and Collins were seen together having dinner, however, besides that once-seen date, their relationship never became anything more.
An Italian Night
Chris Evans and Lily Collins went on a date and met at an Italian restaurant in Las Angeles. According to reporters, they were holding hands and generally having their hands all over each other.

Jenny Slate — 2016 to 2018
Chris Evans had an on-and-off relationship with his costar Jenny Slate between 2016 and 2018. Slate is a talented comedian, and the two met while filming the movie "Gifted". They first dated for nine months and separated. In 2017, they decided to give it another shot.
Their second attempt only lasted a while, and in 2018, they finished their romance for good. It was believed that Jenny and Chris were about to tie the knot eventually, however, things worked out differently.
He Was Too Famous
Although Jenny Slate is a famous person too, she is not as popular as Evans. She revealed in one interview that Chris's fame is what eventually drew them apart. She said that the fact that he was a very, very known and famous person stopped them from having a normal relationship.

In 2020 the word was going around that Chris Evans and Lily James were seeing each other. But, as in an interview published in Harper's Bazaar, James said she will not discuss her love life and kept her Captain America romance to herself.
The actress, known for her roles in "Downtown Abbey" and "Pride and Prejudice and Zombies", was seen with Evans on more than one occasion. The two were keeping each other warm in very cold London.
Top Secret
No one really knows what went on between the two. Even until this day, Lily James will not share what lies behind the shared photographers of her and Evans. During that same time, she claimed she spent time alone with no one special.
It was said, “She spent the summer on her own, at home in London, reading poetry aloud and watching films.” Well, with all the photographs of the two that went all over the place, we find it a bit hard to believe.

The beautiful British actress rose to fame following her astonishing performance in "Dowton Abbey" and in the 2015 production of Cinderella. She has become one of the industry's busiest talents and has earned herself a few honorable nominations for several awards.
When it comes to her love affairs, she has been dating Michael Shuman since February 2021, but before that, she was involved with Dominic West and Matt Smith, both of whom were seen on 'The Crown". Apparently, James has a thing for royals.
Alba Baptista — 2022
In 2022, photos of Chris Evans and Alba Baptista were all over the press. It was claimed that the couple had been seeing each other for a while and this was all confirmed by a note Evans left on one of Baptista'a's Instagram posts.
As it turns out, Baptista posted some photos from the new movie she was working on, and Evans wasn't quiet about it. Instead, he left clapping hand emojis and sealed it off with one of a melting face. Well, surprise, surprise, cause in September 2023, the two married. The evening was considered to be "locked down style" as all guests had to give their phones before entering the event.
Going Steady for Over a Year
As of November 2022, Evans and Baptista are still strongly holding hands. Captain America and the Portuguese stunner had been secretly seeing each other for more than a year before the news broke. They tried to keep things low-key, however, it was only a matter of time before everyone knew what was happening.
Evans and his new lady are reportedly very happy. Chris feels he has finally found the one, and his family and friends all think highly of her.
Alba Baptista — Today
So, who did Alba Baptista date before she began seeing Evans? Alba was born in 1997, making her 16 years younger than Evans, so her dating history is much more modest than his.
The only known relationship Alba is associated with is the one with Kristina Tonteri-Young. This may only be a rumor as nothing has ever been confirmed, however, we like to believe that the two brought some of their on-screen magic off-screen into reality.
Emmy Rossum
Way back in 2007, before Lily James, Lily Collins, or Baptista came into the picture, Evans met Emmy Rossum. They were seen with hands all over one another in the famous Hollywood nightclub "Teddy's," and even after evidence of the two was presented, they still denied the romance.
The American actress never gave any more details about what was going on, so we can assume it was a one-off thing.
They Spared No Time
Evans and Rossum met a week before they were seen in that bar. They were never seen together again since, however, Emmy Rossum's name is listed, among others, on Evans's dating history.
Was there more going on that no one knows about? Could there have been more secret dates in dark bars that no one is aware of? Who knows...

Emmy Rossum has a rich dating history too. Between 2005 and 2007, it was reported that she was seeing Topher Grace, however, they managed to keep things private. In 2007, she was seen making out with Milo Ventimiglia.

Chris Evans and Kristin Cavallari were seen leaving a party in Miami together, and the two seemed pretty close to one another. Later, Cavallari denied anything romantic was going on between them and that they were only good friends.
She told US Weekly, “I've known Chris for a while, just through mutual friends. We're just friends.” She explained that she met Evans through other friends, and it was all innocent.
