Jennifer Esposito appeared on TV for the first time in Law & Order, in 1996. The American actress also made an appearance on the classic action thriller movie, I Still Know What You Did Last Summer. Perhaps her greatest performance was in Spike Lee’s Summer of Sam. The American-Canadian actress also played the comic book character Betty Cooper, in the TV movie, Archie: To Riverdale and Back Again, in 1990.
Prior to landing a major role on NCIS, Lauren Holly made guest appearances in a variety of TV shows, such as Motive and CSI: Miami, during the early 2000s. On NCIS, Holly portrayed NCIS Director Jenny Shepard – a powerful persona who had a strong influence over numerous characters in the show. A year later, she starred in the horror movie by Oz Perkins, The Blackcoat's Daughter. In February 2017, the public learned that Holly would team up with the stars of Nicholas Gyeney's Seattle-based reality drama, Ultra Low, which was scheduled to start filming in the succeeding month of the same year.
Lauren Holly currently resides in Ontario, Canada, together with her three sons, Henry, George, and Alexander. She obtained her Canadian citizenship in 2008. Back in 1992, Holly’s family built the “A Fund” at Hobart and William Smith Colleges, in memory of her late brother, Alexander.

In 2006 Jennifer Esposito tied the knot with the famous American actor, Bradley Cooper. A year later, the actors filed for divorce. Two years after the divorce, she was engaged to Australian tennis player, Mark Philippoussis, but the two eventually broke it off in August of 2010. In May 2014, the actress became engaged with the British model, Louis Dowler. The couple got married in 2014 but eventually got divorced a couple of years later.

It was later revealed that she was the daughter of Rene Benoit, an “NCIS villain”, a French weapons dealer who’s being hunted by NCIS Director Jenny Shepard, for supposedly killing her father, Colonel Jasper Shepard. 2008 Meant goodbye for Scottie Thompson on the show.
