Singer Kesha came up to Jerry Seinfeld at the David Lynch Foundation’s “A Night of Laughter and Song” and asked if they could hug. Reasonable, right? Well, the comedian turned her down. She didn’t give up, this time asking for “just a little one?” and he responded, “no thanks.”
The truth of the matter is, Seinfeld didn’t know who Kesha was, and when the reporter interviewing him explained who she was to him, he said, “Okay, well, I wish her the best.”
Debra Messing Drags E!
Actress Debra Messing made a statement without even meaning to. At the 2018 Golden Globes, she called out E! for not paying their female co-hosts the same as they pay their male co-hosts. She unknowingly said this to an E! correspondent, Giuliana Rancic.
Messing was referring to former E! co-host Catt Sadler. In December 2017, Sadler quit the network after learning that her male colleague, Jason Kennedy, earned nearly twice her salary.
Giuliana Rancic Dismisses Emilia Clarke
Giuliana Rancic was in the middle of interviewing Emilia Clarke when she spotted Heidi Klum making her way over to talk. The E! co-host told the "Game of Thrones" actress, with whom she'd been talking, that she was letting her go.
Apparently, Clarke didn't hear her because she stayed in place. "You can go," Rancic repeated. Though she was polite, there was a very awkward vibe left between them as Clarke walked away.
Macy Gray Promotes Away
You know things are tough when you're out there using the red carpet for self-promotion. The singer-songwriter showed up at the MTV VMAs wearing this, and it's about as awkward as one can get.
Most celebs use the red carpet to show off their looks and glam, not promote an upcoming album. But hey, whatever works?!
Exes on the Red Carpet
Running to an ex is never a fun experience - especially when paparazzi are photographing you. Model Miranda Kerr looked taken aback when her ex-husband Orlando Blooms arrived on the red carpet next to her.
They were cordial, but everyone could tell the run-in was very awkward for both parties.
